Whenever power to the ACC control module is interrupted, or a stepper motor is serviced it is necessary to calibrate the flap stepper motors to their end position. - Raise and support vehicle with jack stands, then remove the wheel and tire assembly.
- Prior to dismounting the tire from the wheel, note the following precautions:
- Do not apply tire changer tool within 10° of either side of the tire pressure sensor valve stem, Fig. .
- Start in area 180° from the tire pressure sensor valve stem.
- Remove the rear side tire bead first.
- Deflate the tire completely.
- Use a suitable tire changer to remove the tire from the wheel. A rim clamp European type tire changer is recommended.
