If the tires or wheels have been replaced or if the tires have been rotated, the system must be initialized as follows:
- Check and adjust the tire pressure to the specified psi.
- Place the ignition switch in the On position. If the lower tire warning lamp illuminates, push the tire pressure reset switch (located on the instrument panel to the right of the heater control assembly) until the warning lamp goes Off.
- Release the Reset button.
- Press and hold the tire pressure warning lamp reset button until the tire pressure warning lamp blinks 3 times.

The Maintenance Required reminder lamp will light as a bulb check feature when the ignition is first turned On, then go out after a few seconds. After 5000 miles have elapsed it will light for approximately three seconds after ignition turn-on, then flash for 12 seconds.
